    STIHL M-Tronic™ System
The STIHL M-Tronic™ system intelligently manages the operating performance of the engine. Equipment performance can be affected by a dirty air filter, changes in elevation or poor fuel quality. The STIHL M-Tronic™ system compensates for these factors by eliminating the low and high-speed carburetor adjustment screws and electronically monitoring the engine and digitally controlling the fuel/air mixture. This new technology also provides a simplified warm start procedure.

    Multi-Function Control Handle
Having easy access to all of the controls on one comfortable handle makes it easy to complete tasks so the operator’s hand never has to leave the handle.

    IntelliCarb™ Compensating Carburetor
The IntelliCarb™ Compensating Carburetor measures the air pressure on the clean side of the air filter and adjusts the metering diaphragm in the carburetor. This keeps the RPM at a consistent level, even when the air filter begins to clog.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great features Light weight, does not vibrate, with additional purchase of the shoulder harness weight is balanced evenly adding to the ease of use. September 17, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Sucks I took it back, it was a pace of junk do not buy this junk, August 16, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Stihl trimmer is good, but still cannot do the job The trimmer I purchased is well-made and runs well. However, it cannot trim mature weeds like pig weed and burdock, two of the most aggressive invasive weeds on my land. I purchased it with weed control in mind, so I am disappointed that it won't cut the weeds that grow to mid-summer height and thickness. July 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Flexibility and Power for tough terrain I have owned this FS 560 CEM for 5 months. I bought this piece of equipment to help clear some overgrown fields & underbrush on forest/hunting land and it has not disappointed. The best thing about it is you can take it anywhere in the back of your SUV without having to have a trailer to pull or buy a walk behind brush cutter. The saw blade easily cuts through small saplings and 2 to 3" trees with an easy swing. And, the brush cutter attachment slices through any briar patch and takes care of small saplings. The gas tank is also surprisingly large allowing you to run it for much longer than a normal trimmer. Most importantly though, the shoulder harness distributes the weight very evenly reducing you from getting too tired. I will be using this for selective thinning of gum & other undesireable trees on my forest/hunting land (101 acres). I highly recommend this if you need something to help you clear on rougher land. Rated 5 out of 5 by FS560 This thing is a beast....get out of its way because it's going to tackle anything you throw at it and make short order out of anything in its way!Starts right up, warms up quick and gets to business of clearing a path.Pretty heavy to use for an extended period....the moment I feel like I'm going into cardiac arrest is about 60 seconds before it runs out of gas at wide open throttle....Great job in engineering the gas tank size to keep me out of the hospital !!A little disappointed in my dealership, they assembled it with the Grass Blade installed with the wrong thrust plates for the blade. Also bought the Poly-Cut head....A lot of trouble with keeping it screwed on, there's no tool to tighten it on the shaft, need to use a socket wrench and felt like I was tightening it to the point it would break....it flew off a couple of times before I just cranked it so tight that I thought it would break.....Lastly, this tool is WAY TOO heavy to use with anything other than a blade....simple line cutting use will wear you out by replacing line or poly blades....best to keep a blade on it and use it for the heavy grass or clearing out the blackberry bushes. Rated 5 out of 5 by King of the Jungle!!! I recently purchased this brushcutter and it is a Beast!! The features are excellent. The harness makes it feel like it only weighs 5lbs and allows you to work more efficiently. The start-up process is awesome. It starts on the the first pull easy. I was able to clear an area in hour versus the normal 5 to 8 hour job depending on my help. Overall, this machine make me like a child playing with toys. March 31, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Definitely performs I purchased this unit at the recommendation of my dealer. I needed a machine that could clear heavy brush and small trees on our vacant properties and hunting leases. This machine has performed and will tackle anything you put in front of it. I highly recommend thiis unit. December 3, 2014
